My family recently moved to from San Diego looking for new opportunities. The field of the education is changing and has taken a toll on many Independent Educators and Professional Speakers. I have spent the last 11 years in business for myself and I am now re-entering the job market. I am looking for an opportunity to bring all of what I learned as an entrepreneur, speaker, trainer, curriculum developer, technology expert and leadership development specialist to an organization that is serious about growing and making an impact on the lives of young people, educators and their families.
I would love to find myself working in a Non-profit Organization or an education organization (school) impacting youth and families. I have provided professional motivational speaking services for students, teachers, and parents. I have also implemented one-time assemblies, provided on-going education consulting services, as well as developed and implemented summer camps, in-school mentoring programs, and weekend retreats for young people. Additionally, I have developed a curriculum rooted in Educational Best Practices and California State Standards and built upon a philosophy I developed called The Core Six Philosophy – a balanced approached to Education and Life.
Additionally, for the past six years I have run a separate business focused on (marketing consulting services) assisting clients in developing websites, print, video, desktop publishing, and consultation and strategy. I have shown my clients how to leverage their web technology as a way to increase efficiency and reduce expenses. I am certified in Google Apps and am proficient in all things related to Google Apps and Services, as well as Apple Products. (I have retainer clients that I help maintain vital technical infrastructure such as desktops, laptops, and servers (online and and on-site). We have also developed and implemented cloud-based solutions and provided help desk solutions (in-house and virtual) as well.
I am hopeful to find a company that values the creative input from their team members, such as myself. I bring a value that embraces an “everyone’s job” mentality. My professional journey has brought me to the point in which I would be happy working and assisting another organization grow that is serious about helping people grow as individuals and as well as forming communities.
